If I am working on an email or page, the only way to register activity (and not get timed out) is to save a page. If I do this to prevent myself from timing out, but then don't like the changes I've made I now have to go in and change everything back. This wastes a LOT of time!

On a Team Page, the page editor can set up a roster of players with position and number. There should be a simply way to print this roster. Even better would be a formatted roster with organization logos and a team name. Maybe even an image? I'd want users to be able to print it, and ideally they could even save as a PDF or email it.

Capitalize First Initials of First and Last Names In BBNC Forms [updated]

All BBNC form parts have script to force first and last names to have inital capitals in each field. There is an issue with Email acknowledgements when the user enters his name as "john doe" as being "Dear john doe" which is improper punctuation. To fix, developers should create a script where First Name and Last Name of BBNC form parts will automatically capitalize the first initial of both first and last names. So if someone carelessly enters "john doe", the BBNC will change it as "John Doe" in the BBNC database (saved on the BBNC server).

It's important to have the ability to allow different price points for event registration, including complimentary registration for event. But currently you either display ALL Registration Units prices (which doesn't makes sense) or you'd have to create a seperate event registration page for different prices - and even if you allow just the 'free' ($0) price, BBNC still prompts the registrant for a page for $0... which should just be bypassed.

Registrants should be able to donate directly to the event, any amount of their choice, without having to purchase anything. NetCommunities Survey Tool only allows those that are taking a survey 256 characters into the open ended/essay question box. Is there a way to expand this to allow 1,000+ characters to be added, this way our alumni will be able to give us a broader response instead of short text boxes of which are less than two sentences. This would be greatly appreciated.

Currently if a company registers for an event, you have no choice to link it to their personal account even though their company is paying and should recieve the benefit. If a company can donate - why can't they register? Companies sponsor events and it's important to keep know it was their company who gave should the contact of that company ever move on. This is especially important for those who pay by company check and use bill me later. If we only have the individuals names, we can't arrange sponsorship signs, promotions, etc.

Apparently Blackbaud haven't included this functionality because not enough of their clients membership subscriptions qualify for gift aid. But ours do, and I know of plenty of other charities whose subscriptions also qualify for gift aid. We need to have the option. I know there's a work around, creating a new attribute in RE etc. and doing a global add once a month, but gift aid is complicated enough. NetCommunity needs to provide out-of-the-box functionality common to all non-profits otherwise what's the point?

Fix recipient lists in email editor so we can choose more than just the the constituent data sourced list. Only test emails can do this.

Reunions have a registration fee which covers printing costs, nametags, and other costs. We would like this fee as a forced fee not an option because we had a reunion this past fall and several people did not want to pay the fee.

Blackbaud currently does not provide a sitemap generator with NetCommunity. We have to either use a Web-based program or pay someone else for sitemap software. This should be included with NetCommunity hosting.

Create a way to link an "event guest" to a constituent record, or at least make it a searchable field before importing a batch over form NC into RE. As of right now if a person registers for an event with a guest who is already in the RE database a NEW duplicate record is being created for that "guest" even if that person is already in RE. The ability to link an event guest to a constituent record would help prevent some of the RE constituent duplicates that arise from NC registrations for "event guests."

I would like you to make a separate thank you / confirmation page after a gift is made, instead of being the same page with some updated text. This would make it possible for us to customize the thank you page more than we can now, and it would make eCommerce tracking with Google Analytics much easier. Please at least add the option to have a separate thank you page.

Currently, when a donor views their Giving History, the part shows the "Active" tab by default. The "Active" tab will search pledges ONLY -- items that have not been paid off completely. As an organization that does not use a pledge system with our donors, this is confusing to our users. The page is titled "Giving History," but the default is more akin to "Outstanding Pledges," not giving history. I suggest at the very least an option on the page to display either "Active" or "History" as the default tab.
