multiple users can signup with the same email address. this results in signup requests from user's that already have BBNC accounts. I'm proposing an option in the editor that allows only one signup per email address. the user would be prompted to have their user info sent to their email if they try to signup with an email address that's already in bbnc.

Blog posts should each have their own unique page with comments, etc, so that a person could be directed to a specific post, and not the whole blog

We have emails for several organizations but no contact person. Instead of creating duplicate individual records for each organization, we would like to simply send information to the organization's email address directly.

This is basic viral marketing that other tools like Echomail and Constant Contact support. There is a link at the bottom of the email that says "Forward to a Friend." clicking the link takes you to a webpage on the organization's website and you enter one or more emails you'd like to forward the message to

much of the content on our website is in the form of news articles. we'd like the ability to put a 'comments' part on any page (or template) no matter the content and allow users to post comments to the page. probably include some management capabilities and report abuse feature.

It's important to have the ability to allow different price points for event registration, including complimentary registration for event. But currently you either display ALL Registration Units prices (which doesn't makes sense) or you'd have to create a seperate event registration page for different prices - and even if you allow just the 'free' ($0) price, BBNC still prompts the registrant for a page for $0... which should just be bypassed.

We have several organizations that have funds at the Foundation and would love it if they could have one login and password for the organization instead of creating an individual record for a contact at the organization.

Recreating the vehicle is hardly efficient nor recommended in any scenario - there are plenty of great blogging platforms out there - What would be amazing is to create a native integration with some of the popular platforms - e.g.: Stream top blog posts into a BBNC page, bring in comments, social bookmarking etc.

Create a way to link an "event guest" to a constituent record, or at least make it a searchable field before importing a batch over form NC into RE. As of right now if a person registers for an event with a guest who is already in the RE database a NEW duplicate record is being created for that "guest" even if that person is already in RE. The ability to link an event guest to a constituent record would help prevent some of the RE constituent duplicates that arise from NC registrations for "event guests."

It would be nice for the system to automatically send out a system message to inform someone who has registered onto the website that they now are fully activated onto the system ie once their BBNC login has been connected to an RE constituent record.

Currently if a company registers for an event, you have no choice to link it to their personal account even though their company is paying and should recieve the benefit. If a company can donate - why can't they register? Companies sponsor events and it's important to keep know it was their company who gave should the contact of that company ever move on. This is especially important for those who pay by company check and use bill me later. If we only have the individuals names, we can't arrange sponsorship signs, promotions, etc.

instead of having to get the system administrator to reset the password, users should be able to reset their own password if their reminder phrase is not helpful.

We have had an event where the individual has gone in and put their name multiple times or they do not know the names of their guests which throws off our register count and makes it impossible for us to use the sold out feature. We need the number of register to be count off the # of Units sold not the number of registered names.

Let NetCommunity "see" email1 and email2 fields not as dupes but as different emails so it can send to both.

When we create a new message to go to a large list, we would like to be able to preview that message from within the message editing screen, and test any imbedded links.

When a donor enters the honoree's information in the acknowledgee field because he wants the honoree to be acknowledge, you are forced to create a relationship record for the honoree. End result is that the constituent now has a relationship to himself. This leaves bad data in the database and is confusing to users.
Can't we have a button in the plugin tribute linking portion for honoree is acknowledgee?

As we are creating multiple donation parts and fundraising pages, each needing to be processed in different ways or by different departments, it would be really useful to have some way of sorting the donations transactions by Fund ID. Also, being able to sort by gift amount seems to add no value to the plug-in.

In a school environment, it would be helpful for staff/students to be able to use their network usernames + passwords to log into ALL blackbaud web products including FaWeb/NetClassroom. These passwords are more robust and can be forced to change on a regular basis.
